nice find! $1500 is a bargain for a car in that shape.

are those tires like 185/60-14? they look tiny!

anyone ever notice than almost all E30s for sale are missing the front lip? (i or is, doesn't matter)

It usually gets ripped off or falls off, and they never bother to replace it. You've got to remember that most of these cars orginal owners weren't enthusiasts like us, so they probably just didn't give much of a shit about the little trim piece that fell off.

The correct spelling is "sweEt". The word "sweAt" is the water secreted from your body, aka BO.
yes and it made me grind my teeth as incorrect spelling annoys me sometimes. :x

Looks great George. Really clean. I'd love to see more interior pics. Looks like just the bolsters are bad.....

Thansk guys! - Yea, I have an "i" lip - Ryan is borrowing it to make splitters - not that it matters - I'm in 4x4 mode anyways.

Yea, $1500...There are cheap and clean e30's out there - don't expect them to be perfect...have your tool ready to fix some odds and ends.

I think I will re-dye the seats for now - I'm 6'1" and not exactly a skinny guy - so I'm sometimes bothered by the sport seats - I think something a bit wider would be better.

I have some rims on the way (just some borbet type c's to hold me over for now) - and saving up for ground control - this summer is when things are really going tot start happening.

                  Thanks guys!

Nice ride dawg. I was looking into getting that car, but the only thing is that I'm from San Francsico...a lil bit farther than where you came from, so that got factored into my price and I got lucky and fixer upper here--black on black '89 iS for $700. The 230k sounded kinda sketch, but it sure looks like you got a killer deal. Congrats on the beautiful car and borbets sound tight...
                      Peace,
