I'm pretty sure the hood and front fender are cirrus blue, both seem to be in good shape. The fender will be painted, and I'm getting a carbon fiber hood eventually. The suspension will be one of the first things to go, the front wheels have so much damn negative camber it looks like the wheels are going to fold up like Doc Brown's DeLorean, it will be replaced with an H&R cup kit.Originally posted by SeanIs the hood cirrus blue? What kind of condition is the paint in? Any dents? ;)
Car looks like a really soild starting point for sure.
I've got a nearly new set of euro grills on the way, and an airbox to replace the ghetto-fabulous dryer tube cold air intake the PO tried to install. I've started to pull and clean the entire interior. So far, both the consoles and the dash are in great condition, as is the black vinyl rear seat. I'm going to pull the whole carpet and shampoo it, and the front seats will be replaced with Recaros, either Speeds or SRD's. It will get a Z3 SSK (which I was very pleased with in the last car) and a UUC Delrin carrier bushing, as well as a rebuilt linkage.
I'm going to have as many ACS interior parts as possible, including pedals, shift knob, ebrake, and door sills. The replicas on eBay are damn good ones, I had the pedals in my last car and everyone thought they were real. I'd also like to try and find a set of red belts from an M3 EVO, but if that fails, the fabric store here sells red seat belt material, so I may just make them. Also red needles in the cluster, all-red tail lights, and red spark plugs wires. The valve cover and intake manifold will be powdercoated black, and the raised parts painted red with hi-temp paint. I'd like to have as many small red accents as I can without getting too over the top. The whole car will be shadowlined minus the kidneys, and I'm considering the black-out kit for the roundels. I never liked it until I saw it in person, and it looks pretty rad. The mirrors and door handles will also be body-colored.
I want to get either ACS, Hartge, or the BMW Sport side skirts, and either a Hartge or M-Tech II rear wing. Also an ACS rear apron if I can find one, if not I will leave the stock one. The car already has a really nice sounding custom exhaust, so I'm just going to hack off the rusty DTM tips and have dual 3 inch tips welded on. The antenna will be removed, and the hole filled and painted. The radio will be non-existent in my car, and I plan to run only light ICE. I haven't decided on wheels yet, but I think I'm only going to go as high as 16's, no smaller. Ideally I would like to find another set of MMII-2's, but I would rather have them in 16's instead of the 17's now at home on Jordan's car.Comment

Josh, my friend had the replica ACS e-brake knob and shift knob in his car... the black paint in all the lettering had worn off by 2 months. I didn't think they looked very good, they looked "cheap" and had the sparkly, spray painted look to them.Comment

I have Replica ACS pedals, they are great, no worn yet in the leltter or whatever...instead, the knob has gone two black letter, must repaint it...anyways, I like both...remaining the hand breake tooOriginally posted by DigitalwaveJosh, my friend had the replica ACS e-brake knob and shift knob in his car... the black paint in all the lettering had worn off by 2 months. Maybe I'll just stick with the pedals. Thanks for the free review, TJ. :up:Originally posted by DigitalwaveJosh, my friend had the replica ACS e-brake knob and shift knob in his car... the black paint in all the lettering had worn off by 2 months.
