    Man that thing is awesome.

The only thing I dont feel is the hood vent though :) Just looks weird on an e30.

    But overall I love it

It is just a 300F VDO gauge. I bought the appropriate senders, I used 1/8-27 NPT senders, tapped the tranny right by the drain plug, and same with the diff. I mounted the gauge where the OBC goes, and it put it on a switch. I will show pics soon.

Sick as hell, great work. Get it to pass smog yet?
            How about engine shots?

Been to the referee twice, getting closer and closer each time! No engine shots for now. Soon.

Be sure to let me know next time you're in LA so I can see it again in person.

Werd , that thing is looking good Trent .

The only thing thats missing is these :

Hahaha still got 'em , just sitting here waiting for you . ;-)
Haven't found the build sheet but I'm thinking they are more like 8" instead of the 7.5's that I first thought .
I can get pics up of them on a red coupe if you like .

About that X5 shifter : is the big difference in the fact that its taller ?
And exactly how much taller is it over a stock E30 lever ?

Oh and I hope you know I'm stealing your hood vent idea for my own POS . ;-)

I have an X5 shifter too. the part below the pivot ball is the same length as the z3 2.8/3.0 and the top is about 3 inches taller.

Looks great Trent! I love everything about it.

It is exactly one inch taller than an E36 M3 lever.

                        Proof:

It isn't 3 inches taller. Top lever in pic is Mcoupe, 2nd is e36 m3, bottom is X5.
