has anyone ever considered fabricating a gasdoor for the e30's without the notch for your finger?
I think it would make the body lines so much cleaner.

to open it, the hinge would have to be moved towards the center so the small side could be tipped inward. does that make sense? its like on vw's.

I think the gas filler door pivots a bit like that already. You could simply make a door without the notch, and just use your fingernail to open the door. The gap between the quarter and the door.

Or you could go full raze quickfill set up.
