Recent pictures of my euro E21

I finally figured a way to get pictures without a lot of distractions in the background.
All comments welcome. Enjoy! (I chose a great date to take the pics huh?)

        1. Illiminate rust & get a good paint job
        2. Remove AC and replace center console
        3. Replace door panels, reupholster recaros
        4. Put 323i head on an eta block
        5. Find some 14 or 15in wheels, alpina preferably.

That's about all that's on the agenda at the moment.

Interior needs a little tlc. Drivers side recaro is really worn. Has a cover on it.
Passenger side is not bad.. dirty and a little worn. I took the cover off that one.
The plastic compartments on the door panels are all cracked and broken.

Hm.. I'll see if I can get some pictures of the interior this afternoon.

I have a friend with a euro 323i that was modified in the 1980's (some Alpina goodies, MK Autosport, Bilstein, H&R). It has some 15" Alpina replicas, and since he doesn't drive the car anymore, he'd probably sell them. I believe he has both Recaro's too. I'll see if he will sell any of it.

Hey Stu, that sounds great. Let me know what you find out.

I went out and snapped a couple of interior and engine shots.

euro bumpers look soo good on e21s.. heck, they look good on any US bimmer. Is it 4 or 5 speed.. I know that some 320s came with 4s, but I dont know much about the 6's. Is that hartage front valance? If you have access to Bimmer check out #37 Oct. 2003. There is a killer 323i in black with alpina look-a-likes, full suspension and a built 2.7 liter using the eta block and 323 head.

My 323i is a 5spd. I *think* the front spoiler is bbs and original with the car.
I'll definitely look for that issue of Bimmer magazine! Hopefully we still have it.

I can't belive you have a 323i, those are so rare to find in the states. Take good care of it, it looks amazing.

Thanks for all the compliments! I do feel lucky to own this car.
I hope I can afford to treat it as well as it deserves :-)

I like your front end. Used to have an e21 before the e30 :). I hate the steering though, all manual, argh, hard on parallel parking! Had an 81 w/ 230k miles on it then sold it :).
