I believe it's the inner barrels of the wheels. It looks like a calypso red in the pics, most likely due to the darkness in there.

it is actually a very bright red. it did not come out so well in the pics but maybe this one will show it better...



I think I should have done the inside hub part of the wheel black though.

i dig the black out look but i'm not sure about the red on the inside. I kind of like it but i wouldn't know if i'd get sick of it.
