If it makes you happy, its all that matters. Im done preaching the purist shit. If I dont like it, I dont do it, but Im not about to tell someone else what to do with their car. Its like other things in life/government/religion. Also, mine just went up in price. ;) The car looks very nice.

Good stuff Bing. As long as you're happy. I'm sure an S50 would be a better daily driven engine too. That's why I was contemplating a swap a few years ago but changed my mind. Also just to clarify, just because an S14 is stroked doesn't automatically mean it has a lot of HP. So when you say 2.5 S14, that really isn't saying much other than it has increased displacement, unless we're specifically talking about the Sport Evo engine.

I had to make a new name on s14, because I would just get flamed in every thread for basterdizing my m3 lol.

I think its safe to say that most guys are using Evo parts when they jump to a 2.5, correct?

Reelizmpro, are you still considering doing it? If you are, go for it...it is money well spent...you won't miss the s14 at all:)

By the way I categorize "purist" as stock everything even to the type of air, fuel, oil filter, plugs used, etc..if you change a gearknob, headlight bulb or bigger wheels, or different make of tires, it is no longer "pure". I think a lot of e30M3 owners would fall into these category:)

If everyone wants to know, the entire conversion run about $5.5-6k that is if you sell your motor for at least $3500

true, but having a 2.5L bottom end (the common engine conversion for the S14) isn't saying it has all the other work done to it to make the Sport Evo power (intake, FIs, TBs, Cams, Head work, Header etc)

I'm still willing to bet the S50 is faster as 250hp vs 238hp (Evo III), not to mention the nice torque curve of the inline 6 :)

                Interesting. Mind me asking who?

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

I would never roll mine with anything other than the S14, even if it is slow, but very clean car nonetheless.

                        +1

nice work on the install, car looks great

I wont get into it right now because I currently don't have the time but I will post my thoughts on this later and it will be long so if you don't like to read I'd skip my post. Bottom line do the swap if you want to, but your a whack job, no offense, if you let your s14 go. If you were smart you'd get the motor back and put it in mothballs. The S52 is a smarter choice in my book if you want to daily drive it. Beat the shit out of that motor and save the S14, BUT one day you'll realize that M3's with s14's are collectors items and without them there not.

Bing, please take it off ! When I was at the shop everyone was making jokes about it! Also, I will not stop saying - please get rid of those horrid lights !

Rui's conversions are flawless, very nice and clean! I am glad you enjoy the new motor, it surely drives better around town with all that torgue. I saw the motor when it was off of the car - it was clean !

Cool clothes don't make you cool.

Is Vlad's window trim Carbon Fiber or Carbon Fiber stickers? That car is too cool. Look guys, and I mean no offense...we'll maybe a little???, It's your car do what you want, but in my opinion carber fiber stickers are beyond rice, they're just plain corny. If your pimpin fiber....pimp fiber. And I'm still gonna rant about killing a cars collectiblity/soul to the point of no return later....when I have time. Bottom line...don't butcher works of art.

And what is this ring decal that you natives speak of?
