The intro shows the engine, and its a 6, and a very cool car.
I am going to confess to also be into the z thing, my brother has a pos 280z that we have been working on and i also dd'ed it for about 4 months.
One of my good friends has a 280z also, he is currently dropping a turbo motor out of a turbo zx into it.
Does anyone know how a 280z compares to a 325i in stock form, specifically in the quarter?Comment

Not good, if I remember correctly they were very overweight and underpowered...
Halfway through 1975, the 280Z was introduced to the market. Replacing the SU carbs on all models with Bosch's L-Jetronic field injection, and the 3mm bore increase raised engine displacement to the 2.8 litre was designed to withstand tougher emission codes.
Producing 149 horsepower, the 280z was only sold in the U.S. All models in California were required to have a catalutic converter in the exhaust system.'88 528e /// '88 M5 /// '89 951 /// '98 E430 /// '02 M5Comment

I know for a fact that my friends ran a 16.0 quarter with an unknown aftermarket cam and exahust. i dont know any actual times for e30s though, seems that nobody likes to run them in the quarter. Ive heard something like high 15s but i think those numbers are from 20 years ago and a car with 200k on it will probabally not perform quite as well.Comment
