What? "Girlfriend Katie" is out there with her finished nails, taping up the car with you, and doing it all with a smile on her face?

      Marry that girl! :)

Dude that is kick ass. That's a pretty good amount of work for a week.
It's nice to have a garage where you can break a car down shotgun style.
            I can't wait.

p.s. You stripped, POR'd and painted the subframe?? Awesome attention. What kind of paint did you use there?

Actually, it should hold up quite well. I used my race car as a test mule about a year ago and it hasnt chipped at all (Ithought it would too). The green primer is a self-etching primer that prepares the metal pretty well, after sanding of course.

That gloss black is the POR-15. It can be left as a topcoat in areas that do not see a lot of light. POR-15 is UV sensitive and breaks down over time so if you use it on a surface that is in the sun, you need to paint over it with sometihing. Any paint will do, or you can get some other top coats from POR-15 as well. I use their Blackcote on top of the cured POR-15 in those applications.

Car feels great.. I absolutely love it. I was tempted to do poly bushings, etc. since I am a track whore but I wanted to keep this a comfortable street car.

I asked Katie how it feels and she said "its like driving an E30 now." Sweet.
