    Loss of a loved one...

    How she used to look...

As of Friday, January 05, 2007...

    The story:

Some woman in a Chrysler wasn't paying attention and on the cell phone when she rear-ended my sister. The woman was doing 45+/-mph when she hit my sister, who was stopped. Clearly the e30 is totalled and the woman's car can be labelled the same as well.

For those who care about the people involved, the woman is fine, but my sister is having problems with one of her legs. We believe the seat wasn't locked in place (due to moving positions from where I sit) and slid foward upon impact. My sister checked the rear view mirror and knew there would be an impact, but there was no chance of her moving in time. She tensed up, which is probably why her leg is injured and why her face didn't end up in the steering wheel (she's 4'11").

I guess thats another e30 accident that someone has walked away from. I'm sad that the e30 is gone, but I'm happy my sister is still here. Thank you BMW.

Glad your sister is ok, cars can be replaced. Although it's sad to see another one bite the dust.

Sucks to see one in such nice shape go, hopefully the insurance settlement goes well for you and your sister's injuries aren't severe. A friend had a similar incident happen, her knee hurt a little after a wreck and now her knees are destroyed, she's had multiple surgies, but she still can't do much other than walk, she even has trouble doing that time to time.

I was rear ended once myself, it's more than you'd think it'd be to be hit like that.
