No doubt about eurotuner not being a great magazine... But davids car was perfect for the mag... no performance and a lot of bling. tastefully done tho. I cut and welded the rear fenders, the antennae holes and the fender lamps. I put his RM's together and made them not leak, and I did most of the body reapair and primed/wetsanded the car for paint. The kid was more than excited about the publication, to see all that hard work recognized by a mainstream magazine is amazing. When i finish my e30 I hope to have mike kippen get it into PBMW with his photography skills, hell i would be happy if eurotuner gave it a 4 page spread!

How much did his car sell for? I might be interested in picking up a car like that someday.

I just dont like jettas very much. I had a 8v GTI before my e30 and it was fun, but I honestly spent 3x more time fixing it than driving it. What a mexican POS.

Man... his DSM was a pile... he has owned 3... a 91 GSX, 92 TSi, and a 91 TSi... he had an 86 golf gt, the GLi, and now has an 88 GL with my old Type T's on it.... by the way, the single rounds killed that car.

You most likely know a lot of the same people as i do in the DSM world, though most have moved on to EVO's

bah.. u should hold out.. Eurotuner has gone downhill fast since the days when phil and jason were there... now u see bodykitted bmws and vws there.. dmoneys car was a breath of fresh air though.. and i would of loved to see it in pvw though.. that is the perfect mag for his car.
