Stock diff with 372k here. Lucky if it even gets a "cheap" fluid change every 50k. Not a single noise from it, locks up perfectly.

Yeah, got overzealous and his magical AWD system didn't pull him out (too much angle way too fast way to close to obstacles and not enough skill). I drove his car around the parking lot, VERY easy to slide, you can input whenever you feel like it, very forgiveable, but it builds way too much confidence. Blades driving my E30 was a humbling experience for him, no AWD to save his ass, it's just pure reaction and skill.
