I didnt know you were going to get the car delievered to the ring. I thought you were going to come back down here to pick the car up. The ring isa way to far for me to drive to meet up.- maybe eric and Yan can meet up with you, they live close to the ring. Its about a 550 km drive from me.

It turns out I will be picking up the car at Auto Tauber on the 25th and then returning it to them after the weekend.

So we can probably find time to meet :)

Got some pics this morning from the guys doing the swap.

They apparently took the car to a meet :)

The other E30 M3's belong to them and their friends.

And finally a small video from a cameraphone:

Im glad the car is done, looks like a fun car. Your tach does the same thing that mine does (17 seconds into the video). Do you know a way to correct it?

What was the reasoning behind blocking up the lower air dam and brake ducts?

This is the way the car was when I bought it.

We will open up the brake ducts and also do something about the net
in the center opening - at least color it black. The oil cooler and the
cooler for the intake are behind the big opening in the lower air dam.

Sorry - the S14 was part of the payment for the SC motor :)

Here is a small report from our trip to SPA a few days ago.

Woke up at 5:45 at Ringhaus to start driving to SPA - it was wet :(
The Ringhaus E30 can be seen - RIP:

The M3 and the M5 waking up:

Here you can also see how wet it was - we did not like the situation!!!

Here we are at Spa - driving under the track to enter the pit area:

Quite a group of cars - those 4 are over 2000hp combined :)

We rented a garage and here is the red M5 in place:

Here I am trying to clean most of the road dirt off the cars:

                                Our neighbours have arrived:

                                Still cleaning:

It´s almost as if the red M5 is eager to get going on the track:

Shortly after driving started the first accident happened - a guy went off on Eu Rouge:

My friend Saemi will be happy to have this picture later - to be able to show
the beginning of his racing career :)

Here I had started driving the white one and I am here explaining to
a Porsche owner (the one in the blue shoes) why he was slower on the
                                track :)

Here is a pic from just before we left - there is the Honda that crashed
while trying to keep up with RNGTOY. He had been in my way, did not
let me pass, was much slower and was sliding the back end in the turns.
I waited behind him until the straight and the passed him while I was doing
200 km/h. I then watched him in the mirror in the fast left turn and saw
him slide outwards over the red/white edge of the outside of the track.
He then spun and ended on the wall on the inside of the track. He must
have been doing 160 km/h. As you can see the car is rather damaged:

                                One pic of the M5's:

Here we are on our way to get more gas - RNGTOY was running on fumes:

Here is the gas station that did good business that day - three very thirsty cars :)

Here we are on our way back to Ringhaus:

The M5 had so much brake dust it seems as if the wheels are gunmetal colored:

The white one was doing well after a difficult day:

                                Also, here is a video:
