Is the molding different on the late-model e30s or just doesn't have the chrome strip ?

Why haven't you put the front end on?

Also, Euro plate filler would be cool for the rear. They're only $25.

Damn if that car isn't clean though!

The rear ones will not interchange due to the different fender arch.

BTW, if you're all wondering why I didn't post any pics of the front end, I figured we'd all seen enough pics of MikE30325i's car.
              LOL

Its lookin nice! I can't wait to see how the plastics turn out... if I keep my 335i I might consider plastics.

                          Thanks for all the compliments!

Matt - to answer your question, I don't have the front on yet because I still have a ton of front end suspension and engine work to do, and rather than risk banging tools, extension cords and air hoses into the new paint, I'd just as soon leave it off until I'm ready to put everything back together.

Stu - Yea, I pulled all the side moldings to paint them and shadowline the chrome strip in them. I'm not putting the bumpers on until I'm ready to reassemble everything, and to make you all wait in suspense for the full unveiling. :D

I'm just building the suspense for all you fools... :D

j/k. I just have to paint that rear apron and my Rieger lip, and get the front valence and bumpers installed, and the cosmetic work will be pretty much done. But I'm not putting on all of the new stuff until I get done with everything else. Don't want to fuck anything up.

I can't wait to see it finished. So, how much do you want to "shorten" a rear plastic bumper accordingly ? ;)
