Ya, I guess it's really not "done" yet but I wanted to show it to everyone since it has been driving for 2 weeks now.

Also going to remove the early model tank bracket completely.
yep, thats the way to do it.

great job man. after helping my buddy do the same thing, you will be very happy with the results.

one can spend large amounts of cash (or worse, credit) on building a show car.

one can do the same on restoring a car..

or one can spend what it takes to build a nice driver's car.

              Cheers Matt.

Exactly! Shit I really didn't even need to do the swap, the Eta engine ran fine.

It cost me almost nothing for a little extra power though so I went for it.

The 89 is going to be the new money pit. :)

why did you ditch the A/C? If this is your daily car, I'd keep it ... same with the washer fluid.

                      Didn't work anyway, and I've never had A/C before. I don't mind.

I will probably toss a washer fluid tank in at some point, probably buy a brand new one when I do it. Not very high on my priority list though.

My theory: If you need washer fluid, you don't wash your car enough.

Oh wait, I live in the desert.
