I'm planning on adding the correct brackets for the late model coolant tank. It uses the plastic one up top and a metal one similar to the washer fluid tank lower one that I need to cut out of a junkyard car and weld in to mine.
Also going to remove the early model tank bracket completely.
great job man. after helping my buddy do the same thing, you will be very happy with the results.Comment

one can spend large amounts of cash (or worse, credit) on building a show car.
one can do the same on restoring a car..
or one can spend what it takes to build a nice driver's car.
Cheers Matt.Comment

It cost me almost nothing for a little extra power though so I went for it.
The 89 is going to be the new money pit. :)Comment

why did you ditch the A/C? If this is your daily car, I'd keep it ... same with the washer fluid.San Diego BMW repair -> Jake @ www.littlecarshop.com Great guy :up:Comment

Wiring looks awful
Coolant tank is pathetic, can't use factory parts can you?
red vacuum line for FPR = rice
No rubber boot over coil
Clearly ignored the use factory parts sticker
O2 Sensor harness clipped into wrong location
Oil cooler looks shoved randomly into an empty void
ECU harness gasket not secured to firewall.
FAIL
hey matt, are you throwing the snail in?Comment

I will probably toss a washer fluid tank in at some point, probably buy a brand new one when I do it. Not very high on my priority list though.Comment
