15mm spacers up front to clear the strut. I will never go with this setup again, grips amazing but really numbs out the car. 8" tire on a 6" rim FTL.

to be honest, those wheels remind me of a cheap car with missing hubcaps. im not trying to bash you though.
That's what I thought, too, but paint the lip white or silver. I kinda want to see what they look like after that.

I have a set of bottle caps I use for Auto-x'ing. I painted them "charcoal" so that they match the color of brake dust. I was actually thinking of going back and painting the outer rim white to match the car. We shall see if I get the motivation to re-mask and paint again!

I will get some pics up soon.

Pretty happy with results, black/silver is definitely as good as bottles can look

yea all black looks a lot like steelies. but bottle caps are basically BMWs version of steelies, just the standard base wheel.
if you go all black, i suggest painting the wheel weights black too. they tend to stick out.

Ok guys with gigantic wheel weights, a tip.

Get your snow tires mounted at walmart/sears etc. They offer lifetime balancing, use tape weights. ;)

You just have to take your time... really take your time if you want them to look right 1st go,
otherwise you will have to sand back, re mask, and respray, like i did on one of mine that i rushed.

These are all in my other thread, but this seems to be the "black bottle cap" tread so here are the pics of the before, masking, and after.

                                Before:
