As far as I knew FAG was a German company, but I've been wrong before. Stupid Fags.

Actually the 17 inch steelie weighs in at 22 pounds. Same/less than a lot of alloys. With the tire mounted, each one comes out to 42 lbs. per corner. My 17x8 SSR's however, weigh in at 14 lbs. :) The wheels are 17x7, with 215/40-17s. I effin love them. I cant wait to do the front later this week. I was going to do it today but a friend borrowed my spring compressors. Soon, soon.

I just cant decide to use my e30 m3 front brakes, or put on the e36 m3 front brakes. I cant go any smaller than 17's with the e36 ones. And I just picked up a set of 16x8's in 5x120 ET11that should be here midweek.

I dont even need spring compressors with my lowering springs... You going with e30 M3 front struts I hope so you don't have that horrid caster problem.

wait so you kept the trailing arms and whole assembly, just swapped brakes and hubs?

can you fit e36///m brakes in the rear?

Correct. This was my first 5 lug swap. I researched and found that between the 325 and the m3, all parts were identicle. Super easy, especially if you are going to do rear bearings. :) One more 5 lug swap method to add to the books.:pimp:

No. Unless you go with the M coupes/roadster, which even then you need the whole trailing arm as the calipers bolts are further apart. Which I have for my other 5 lugger swap. Unless you made an adapter I suppose. But thats not how I roll. When these brakes are done, I am putting on Lees Massive kits. Hence all the 17" wheels I have now.

                            No .

But Mroadster and Mcoupe stuff will bolt right up and its the same size as E36 M3 .

How? It is so easy! The trailing arms are the same, hence nearly everything that attaches to them, will be spaced and made to fit, just made for two different applications. Same way m3 front fenders bolt on.

could you do the same thing in the front and then fit z3m brakes on?
