    Good old Tennessee Mountains

Went for a little drive today in the TN mountains and snapped a few pics

Had lots of fun toying with an S2000 threw the twisties and wearing out my tires. I've got some track rubber on the way so had to finish of the g-sports. The car was sliding all over the place and under steering like a pig. But it was so much fun getting it sliding in the tight corners then punching the throttle and powering out.

it isn't an eta anymore, it's got a nice little 2.7 stroker with a maf conversion under the hood and a 4.1 diff, coil overs, roll bar, etc....... (i'd be typing for a while trying to list all the mods)

I think the under steer was from my shot G-sport tires they were at the wear bars before I went out and haven't checked them since I got back. I drove the same road about a month ago with my Team dynamic rims on with almost new kumho's and it handled a lot better. I'd go in to a corner and could just feel it pushing, and not wanting to turn. The zenders are my track rims, and I've got some r-compounds on the way so figured I'd beat the snot out of the g-sports while they are still mounted:pimp:

yep that it was, ran from end to end about 6 times, and burned about 5 gallons of gas (eek that's 11-12 mpg ) Oh well it was worth it. I try to hit the dragon about once a month :pimp:

Let's see, it's about 11-12 miles... speed limit is 35, I think. Plus you have to watch out for oncoming traffic and sunday drivers... but if the road's clear...

                        p.s. don't get caught.

~20mins or so, all depends. I hit 85-90 in a few spots here and there. Amazingly this time I didn't get stuck behind a single bike, just a bunch of cars and trucks, all but 2 finally did pull over to let me zip on by. If you do come run the dragon, make sure your car is in tip top condition, and only go as fast as you feel comfortable, if someone else is running faster just slow down and let them go by.

ya well I've been busy trying to finish up school. Hows the CAB's holding up, My front right one has been clicking some, and today after the dragon the driver's side one started making a little noise. I'm going to throw new bearings on them before my may school, but not to bad for 10 months of daily driving, one track weekend, and who knows how many mountain runs.
