Do you guys think I need to cut a hole in it? The stock one has those three big holes in but I am not sure what they are for? Airflow? Inpection? At first I thought they may be for draining fluids but they dont allow access to anything.

nice, it's kinda pointless on the ix though because the oil pan is behind the subframe, not hanging out in front like everyone else.
Yeah...I was wondering if anyone would mention that. Its still better than what I had though. Now when I rally the care i don't have to worry about debris getting caught up in there.

you need to cut some holes in it. the holes are in the plastic oem one for airflow. if those arent there you wont have a decent amount of air running over the radiator and you might over heat.
other than that. wanna make me one too? 5 bucks shipped. haha
Thanks guys... I tried to cut a hole in it but my hole saw is too dull. I'll have to get a new one.
If people really want these I could do them for time and material which would probably be a pretty good deal. I put 5 hours into mine but it was also my first attempt. There are a few things I would do differently if I made more. Also My car is an iX so someone would have to donate their car for a few hours so I could make a slightly different design. Let me know and I can figure out a price.
Edit: Luke, if you really want one maybe we can trade some work for work or parts like we did before... Does this sound interesting?
Might not need to make it quite as wide for us non rally guys, but I am down for one either way. My car would be a donor if you were n't so far away. Calling Josh Anderson.
