Come on Fred , you know better than that . :p

But yes I will agree Sven , that is one uber-clean hitler wagen you have there . :D

That is a nice cover on top of the throttle-body , never noticed it on Stateside 4-bangers .
I want one , I'll have to dig up the part# for the Euro model and make my beater more Euro than the next guys .

I'm also gonna say that the A/C is retrofitted since the lines are not on the inner fender like they should be .
pLus that single A/C button with no recirculate button and weird center console vent are a dead giveaway .

I didn't know that there was a Euro valance with only one cutout. Seriously!

You know what would be MORE euro? M40 transplant!!! :loco: J/k.

That sure is a small radiator! Looking at Realoem, it seems like these M40 cars came with a 390mm wide radiator. That's only a few inches longer that a foot!

The center vent on console give a hint that it's a retrofit, not oem.

You know in all my years of messing with e30's I've never bothered to learn one bit about the 4cylindr models .

I was felt "why bother" when all of my cars were and will always be 6cyl versions .

I've changed my views slighly since picking up my alpine 318is however , but yeah I just noticed that the intake is of a different design than our M42's .
