2,000 no tax...took out all the little dents and dings this thing aquired over the 20 years of its life. He originally quoted me at 2500, but knocked it down because of my referral. If anyone in the puget sound area needs paint and thinks that's a fair price, I'll give you his contact info...he runs a word of mouth body shop in port of Tacoma area.

hey thanks for all the great comments! More pics to come...by the way, how can I put a picture directly in the post without attaching the image. The <img src> command didn't work.

Very very clean! Silver Remembers with a nice drop and it will look insane. Remembers need 5-10mm spacers to look their best though.

The offset on my remembers is 20, so you still think I'm going to need spacers? From what people have told me, they aren't necessary, but I do want to get the most out of them, and if you think 5-10 mm spacers will do the trick, then that's what I'll most likely do.

So I'm still undecided about my suspension upgrade... what do you guys think. Should I just go with sport springs to get a little drop, but not a crazy drop, or should I slam it and sacrifice some streetability. I'd like to be able to drive this thing on the street, but at the same time it would be nice to have a nice stiff suspension for auto-x and occasional lapping day. Was thinking H&R race and Koni top adjustables, but I'm just not sure...I'd hate to scrape that nice freshly painted white valence.

I say slam it, but I'm not a believer in practicality.

I thought Remembers were ET25, I think yours should be fine with ET20. But with the high rear arches you will have room to space them out a little, especially if you run a 205 tire.

EDIT - Oh ya, I was too busy thinking about what to say to James I didn't comment on the car.

Looks great! When I met you at Bremerton and Pacific the car looked so different. I am very impressed with how it turned out. Get some different springs on there and cut out that fender gap. Other than that, perfect!

White.....ah so kinda boring. I henna or Brillantrot that would have looked awsome, but it's your car. The paint work looks great as does the kit.
