The car looks far better then before. Keep up the good work and get that thing buffed out.

Thanks for the compliments. They aren't Panasports though. I wish they were. They are Rota's. They come in many different colors, sizes and offsets and they are fairly cheap. Thanks again.

I say get some spacers to make the rears sit flush, dump it as low as you can and get that plastic valence on the rear, call it a day.Reminiscing...Comment

Yea I was thinking I needed some spacers in the rear as well. I have some H&R 5mm I might throw back there. I think I might need some 10's though. The rear believe it or not wont go any lower. Its totally maxed out as of now.Big Brain- "The big brain am winning again! I am the greetest! Now I am leaving earth for no raison!"

So I was feeling real nice and I love where your car is going, so much so that I decided to chop it with some mods mentioned here, and a few other tidbits I threw in...
Can you spot all the differences? Enjoy!Reminiscing...Comment

Thats it. Well done. Now use it as a guide and your inspiration to get it done!
Well I did shadowline the rear window seals and the door trim pieces to be darker. Just give it a coat of SEM trim spray and call it a day, really freshens up the car. Oh and I only pushed out the rear wheel.
EDIT: Oh and a darker rear parcel shelf. Just go over it with a can of vinyl dye. I'm telling you when you freshen up the old, graying stuff it does wonders. And you forgot to mention the euro plate filler for early models...thats would look sick and it only costs about $40 new from BMW.Last edited by M42Technik; 07-14-2007, 10:58 AM.Reminiscing...Comment

The picture has definitely given me the inspiration to get this thing finished. I did check the side trim and back rubber originally but I couldn't tell if they were darker or not so I didn't say anything. The rear shelf I missed altogether. Its a nice touch that I now plan now doing just because if the picture. I have been wanting to do the euro plate filler sometime down the road. Thanks again for all the inspiration and help. I really appreciate it

No sweat dude, let me know if you want to see anything else. Did you have a euro shelf originally? I heard that some early models had no rear brakelight there...sucks that they don't fit late models.Last edited by M42Technik; 07-16-2007, 02:35 PM.Reminiscing...Comment

I agree with what m42tecknik said, some rear spacers would be awesome. Cause it looks real good with flushed out wheels. That photoshop was pretty sweet, and just gives a good demonstration of what can be done with your car. Like mentioned previously, a professional detail will really make your car shine.Comment
