I love the first one. I am all for deleting the kidneys, but the extension on the hood and the way the fenders are extended and then squared off over the grill looks like ass IMHO.

I think that silver car is rad, I like the non kidneys. I took the Roundels off my car for a few months last year because people hate me for driving a BMW. I think the non kidneys make the front look a lot cleaner.

euro cars didn't come with an oil cooler. plus, the oil cooler sits in front of the lower slit anyway. I doubt it would effect the cooling all that much.

My 1986 Euro has an oil cooler.

Correct Euro cars came with an oil cooler M20B25
M40B16 and M40B18 powered E30 has one slit (and I think some 324d, not mine :? )
The 320i,324td and 325i has TWO slits in the valence ;)
for other cars I think it was an option I've found an oil cooler on my from Germany imported 320i
