Not bad, mate, not bad. What did BMW do to the engine to make that M20B27 192bhp?
I thought it used an S14? or am I thinking of a different car? (320is?)
yes, you're thinking of 320is, an Italy / Portugal only special, designed to take advantage of the tax break for cars under 2L.

"Can we get some shots of the engine bay?"

I dunno, if he's got any, but I know it's still stock. I might be able to find some pics of other, 325is Evo 2's cause a few of my mates have them :).

"have any info or pics on the 333i? "

I will find some pics for you, I've got some factory pics, but they aren't that great.

The 325is Evo2 did come with Aluminium body panels, this was cause the car was built up for our Touring car series.

Here are some pics of other E30's, I know some of these guys. :)

This red 333i, is Turboed, or I should say was, he added Nitrous, and then drove it into a wall. On the 1km run he would run between 290km/h and 280km/h. :)

This guy I have never met, but he has a wikkid ride, it's also a 325is Evo2, but it is turboed, and running NOS.

I also don't know this guy, but this is also a 325is Evo2, but with just a turbo.

This is my friends car, it's a 318i, but it's running the motor from the E36 318is, and it's turboed. He's makin in the reigon of 350hp :)

This is my mechanic's car, it's got E36 M3 suspension, S50 motor, thats turboed, running on 0.6 bar boost, I just don't like that front spoiler, and the colour :(

To view other pics of these cars, and a few other done up E30's go to this link http://www.dtmproductions.net/forums...&threadid=6327

If u have any questions about the cars in those pics, just gimme a shout, and I'll answer them as best I can. :)

Can't use one person as an example. I don't care what anybody says that sort of thing happens in every city. It does suck, they tried to highjack me on the highway, they pushed me off the road, and I went across the highway into a ditch, and back out, I bent my left control arm, back againt the body, and dented almost the whole left of my car, plus I scraped the paint off a part of my bonnet, but I kept on going just incase they were still after me, I drove at 120km/h with almost no steering, and the tyre squeeling, cause it was rubbing against the body

Would you say that J-burg has more such incidents than Cape Town?

Finally confirmed the myth I heard!!!
What sets a evo II apart from the regular e30?
Also are the aluminum panels very common?

What sets the Evo 2 apart, well, it wasn't called an Evo2 by BMW South Africa, but that is what the public called it, as it was an upgrade. Compared to the original 325is that we got here, only the engine is different. The Aluminium body panels are pretty hard to come by, most of the "is"'s with them that have been in accidents have the steel body panels but back on :( . I think we might still be able to get the panels from the dealer, but I'm almost sure they will cost an arm and a leg, plus your left nut.
