good call... I know all about gaffers tape, i keep a small roll of black in my trunk kit :p didn't know it came in pink. I'll take a look, i'm sure there's some supply stores around. I haven't used it on paint though; hopefully it's not so sticky as to mess up the paint on my non-'caps :p

Gaffers tape is pretty sticky. I think your paint would be all right? To be sure get paper tape from a motion picture camera supply store, there are some in the city. call the chicago film office and ask them to get a number for a camera expendables store. I think thers a place called otto nemenz in chicago.
