Haha, oh man. These are looking good. I will pick up some pink paint tomorrow and throw the b-caps on. Hahahaha. This is going to be an interesting week.
I think pink on black would be a great color combo. Expecially with my 90mm stud kit.Originally posted by cabriodster87"Honey? What color is this wire? Is it the same as that one? Are you sure? PLEASE use some masking tape... fuck cut a hole in some newspaper or something but please dont just grab a can and start spraying.....call me old fashioned but if anything is worth doing its worth doing RIGHT even pink bcaps
plus it looks funnier if its done that way bc that way people know it was INTENTIONALLY done otherwise it looks like some pranksters painted your wheels pink while you were at work or some shit.Originally posted by ebelementsAlso, for those who don't know, negative camber is the greatest thing since sliced bread(panera). Even tire wear is for city busses and the elderly.

Yes! I think quality of paint job or lack of quality of paint job may add some style points in the competition, in my eyes it could go either way, I could see a full councourse level pink wheel restore as helping but then again I can see a full alley job pink wheels with pink tires helping...we'll have to leave this up to the distinguished panel of judges.
Deagle,
somedays it seems you may actually know a thing or two about cars but from your latest posts I'm guessing your not too well versed in Aristotles poetics. Here's a quick lesson. The basis of drama is conflict. Through out the ages people have sought out good stories as a form of entertainment and enlightenment. Therefore people seek out conflict and the resolution of conflict.
In creating this conflict it is important to realize the audience you are telling the story to, here at R3V your audience is gear heads that like to read and see pictures of wrenching.
Story one.
A man with an orange M3 paints bottle cap's pink, jacks up car and installs 5 lug bottle caps, lowers car and drives off.
Story two
A man with a orange M3 paints bottle cap's pink, puts car on jackstands and struggles to do the first R3V documented 5 lug to 4 lug swap, he spends multiple hours trying to get it to work...Can he pull it off???
Everyone has their preferences, but I'm guessing in the end the four lug swap would win the story contest, It's not about convenience, it's about pulling your audience in.
Is it just me or are there no MODS in this thread? Could this be too much for them to watch over.
Have the official rules, guidelines, and participants been posted yet?Last edited by Fanzotti; 06-07-2007, 10:29 PM.

BDSax and ldsbeaker are getting $20 no matter what, because they entered the challenge before I changed the format to a contest.

ok I PMed Carufel yesterday and he hasn't responded. Should I take that as the odd behavior of an eccentric who is painting his wheels and making a 22 megapixel photoshoot while rolling in Oakland, or should I take that as the uncomfortable silence you hear when you're waiting for the other shoe to drop?
