Today's story:
The guards at the gate loved it. I heard them laugh as I drove by, and one of my old Marines from my previous shop saw me, he pointed and yelled as I drove by...
I was driving around town, and decided since I got off work early, I would go check out this E12 that I just spotted this week. I went and checked it out (rusty, but still hot as hell), and then, as I'm pulling back out onto the main drag to get some lunch, this car passes me, then hits the brakes HARD. Full nose dive, and neck snapping going on, you get the picture?
No. THEY got the picture. It was 3 youngish girls in this car, and they were waving like mad, and their mouths were doing that O thing, like "no effing way, like, did we just see that?" I showed them the "rock it" sign and the girl in the back seat whips out a camera. No shit. Like it was in her hair or something. She's snapping away, and I'm trying to pose, and be as manly as possible (with a pink grill and pink wheels... in a MARINE town).... (sigh) They got shots from every angle, they were loving it. I pulled off to go to Hardee's, and got the weirdest looks. This lady parks next to me, and since we were in line together, I think that she wanted to talk to me and stuff, I don't know if she knew how to approach the subject. "um, your wheels are pink..."
