    my 5th bmw

    Here is my latest addition.......
    1990 325i
I just picked up the car a couple of weeks ago
    It came with:
M3 springs and Bilstien Touring Struts
    Dinan Chip
    New ReUphostery
Sony Head Unit with Sony Speakers
    And Gun Metal Basket Weaves
    Hella H1/H4 Conversion Headlights.
Everything is working on the car right now and im getting 178whp so im pretty happy with that.
I plan on replacing the driver's side impact strip and fog light lense and thats about it for the cosmetics.
I have about $2000 to spend on this car so I am open to any suggestions and comments about my car.

        Wow, very clean stuff.

With $2,000? Get yourself an iS lip, then get yourself into some classes to be a better driver.

Or get euro trim, euro grilles, a nice suspension and if those aren't MHW taillights, then some taillights. Doesn't need much! Oh and did you dyno to get those numbers? Thats pretty good for an M20!
        Reminiscing...

looks really clean but 178whp? is the motor built? You must have the extreeemo megahhh dinan chip, pretty rare for the states.

My money says thats a G-Tech number.

Looks super clean! I'd spend money immediately on maintenance obviously, followed by suspension and brakes, then wheels. You are apparently not lacking power, so save that for last.

The car was dynoed so thats how i got my numbers and as for routine maintenance it has had the timing belt and water pump replaced at 16k miles ago. And as for the driving course comment I recommend BMWCCA courses to anyone who is inexperienced but im past that point, it was a good $300 spent.

does it have a limited slip?

If not, I'd add that and then spend the rest on track days. Looks nice.
