New updated pics with new tires...

So things have finally been cleared up I believe. It'll take me a few days to drive the car around and to get the feel for it, but new tires were thrown on there, I didn't even bother checking the exact size. All that I can say it seems to not rub at all from this point and the wheels look much better with a more appropriate tire size.

I know the pictures are at the same location. It's somewhat damp, but when I detail my car later this year before a concours *spelling* show I'll have some better pictures with a better background.

The rims are baller as hell, makes me sad that you didn't care at all how they were made though, with 10 minutes research you could have gotten perfect fitment on them. What did you do with your 235/40's? I hope you didn't buy a whole new set of tires just because the shop messed up your fitment.

It looks like the rear rims need spacers now, the front track is clearly wider than the rear.

The shops took care of the tires. They took care of anything needed to be done at their end. Spacers... Yeah maybe a 5mm spacer I'd say... I'll see and drive around for a little bit and see...

I got lucky and found a set of used ones from a local cca member, you just have to look around...

You can buy new, but they're SPENDY!
