That, my friends, is how 16x9 ET15 Type Ts sit when you put them on an E30, straight up. That's also pretty close to how you'll sit with ground controls all the way down. Not low enough front, too low rear, with the front's poking lightweight and the rears sitting about flush.

Iron out your stance, dude, it could look fresh.. . .

What spacers are you running? Just goes to show you how important stance is to run wheels like these.

Your e30 could look really good. Get the front down, run 5mm spacers up front, 10mm out back, get some 215/45/16's. If you did that, nobody would even notice all those crazy stickerz. Comment

Thank you, egk2, you are one of like 3 people that get the whole "stance" thing on this board.. . .

 well here's the full story.

i was under the impression that the fronts would rub on the caliper if i didn't run any type of spacer, this is due to the fact that the type a's rub in the front without a spacer. i also was in dire need of tires as i had a show the next day, so i called my other buddy who works at a shop who found me a pair of 195/55/16 and 195/45/16 tires for a really cheap price. so when i was ready to get the wheels mounted, i was in dire need of a spacer, so i called jonwiththee30, who lent me his 15mm hubcentric spacers. i slapped them on the front and called it a day with the intentions of running 5 or 8mm spacers all around in the future.

fast forward to today, i'm now running no spacers at all, happy to find out that the fronts actually do not rub on the caliper like the type a's, so for future reference type t owners, you don't need to space them at all.

lastly, i'm running ie3 springs with koni yellows, i know the front is raked high, and that's soon going to change. i may have an oppurtunity to be sponsored by kw suspension now run by st engineering. hopefully coilovers are in my immediate future, if not, the 60/40 spring kit should do nicely ala egk2.

Depending on what suspension you run, you may have to run a spacer.

I had to run at least an 8 for the wheels to even turn. I run a ten now. Even then, the rear needs to be spaced heavy to match.

Of course, that's all moot when you don't have suspension or tires figured out in the least.. . .
