i haven't had it up on the lift yet... i'm going out of town this weekend but when i get back i'm gonna check it all out.
i've been driving it on the street and it doesn't seem too bad as far as quickness of steering or anything on those lines. i'll have to check it out when i get back though.
if it is super bad i'm gonna order the kit from treehouse racing to fix it though.Comment

well... i got my tires mounted up today and on the car.
i put on the slotted brembo rotors, all stainless lines, all new shifter parts, uuc race shifter.
i'm ready to bolt in the corbeau seats, but they will be going in after the cage gets welded on.
the front caster is around 6 degrees, and it only has about a 1/2 to 1 degree of camber, i'll be adding camber plates within the week... any suggestions on those?
the rear camber is off too... only about 1 degree on the left side and on the right the top is leaning out about 2 degrees. how am i going to get that fixed? i looked at it for a while and it seems the only to way to get that back in would be to bend the trailing arm at the inner mount. i need some help with that.
anywho... here's pics.

Are you running spacers on the wheels , they look like they are sticking out kinda alot. I was thinking of doing the same wheels but i dono know, Or is it due to the 318ti 5lug , Is it the same with the E30 M3 convertion? thanks , car looks good by the way.Comment

Holy undersized tires Batman !! :D
You wont be able to dial in any more caster if the PO already installed M3 offset CAB's .
The THR eyballarms are the same exact offset , they just provide more clearance for the exhaust .
Concerning the ft. caster :
With the 96+ control arms and the M3 offset CAB's that is pretty much all you can hope for with bolt on stuff .
Any more adjustment and you'll need to resort to custom parts .
As for the camber plates go with Vorshlag , hands down the best out there .
Good luck with the car and your goals , its good to see it coming along .Comment

i'm not running spacers with these wheels, they just seem to be a little wider than the z3 wheels that were on the car. they are almost flush with the fender if you look down from the top of the car, sticking out maybe 1/4 of an inch. i'm fairly certain it has nothing to do with the conversion, but in fact the offset/width of the bbs wheels.
and thanks for the comments!Comment

I cant say that have seen door bars like that before either they usually drop down a bit more to ease getting in and out. But thats going to be a pretty sweet car, any plans for a heart transplant?Comment
