I will agree with you "before" guys somewhat, it was damn clean in those early days. But it's even more so now, and it's exactly what I wanted, which is...

For some reason it reminds me of Kevin's old car these days.

Seriously, these cars' chassis can handle so much more power than what came stock.

Umm, not really. Without room for big tires, and a soft chassis with an archaic rear suspension design, traction becomes a serious issue by about 250rwhp.

I have no desire to do an M30 swap. If I do any engine swap, it will be to a 24V. A bigger version of the M20 doesn't really appeal to me.

                        care to elaborate?

E30 looks friggin sweet. I am currently underway swapping the plastic bumpers onto my car and I have you to thank for getting me off my ass to finally do it.

I have plenty of traction...above 30-40 MPH in 2nd with my 225 Hankook RS-2... In 1st and a hard shift to 2nd...nothing.

Even though the E30's rear suspension design has pretty much not changed since the 2002 it is still a GOOD design and better than some new shit out there.

As far as traction issues, with some nice 225-245 tires it's really not much of an issue. Now on stock bottlecaps with cheapo 195's, that's a different story. :)

I dunno, but all the way to 225s and my car doesnt seem to stay straight :p

On a more serious note. I have quite a bit of turbo lag, and I have no traction issues with 205s, 215s, or whatever. I actually have to force my car to lose traction.
