Mine is originally from AZ... but probably came over in the 90s, so it doesn't really mean much. It'd probably be a lot more solid if the PO, who lived on the coast of CT, hadn't left it outside.

It's got a modified L28 in it. Port/polish, mild cam, 10lb flywheel, triple webers, a compression ratio of about 10.6:1, and a few other mods.

Pretty sure I've seen you on HybridZ before. What have you got planned for yours?

It's kind of on the backburner for now. has an L28 with a cam, unsure what internals since the motor was purchased assembled and supposedly "built." e36m3 is ready for trackdays while the z needs everything, I'm waiting until my business takes off before putting more money into the Z. I'll do floors, r200 and dash resto this winter, but I'd probably buy another motorcycle before sinking real money into this. It's my 3rd 240, I'm anxious to get it going but have to be realistic that my m3 is a lot more capable on the track. Zcar meet this summer is on the east coast, I'll probably bring it there

Here's my other toy. Unfortunately it's a rust bucket, so sooner or later I'll be getting another shell to swap all my parts onto, and either selling or scrapping this one.

i was actually referring to the sticker- that dual-bird smiley is used a lot on a local moto forum here in california- figured you might be a TX transplant. :)

Ah, my bad. I saw the sticker on another site that sells decals...had to get it, lol. Never lived in Cali though.

i have the same headlight on my Derbi streetfighter project. isn't it awesome having a piddly little flashlight wired to your battery? :D
