That is one thing that has always confounded me. Peoples logic on tires. Like my buddy who worked at a tire store would pay 50k for a car but then want the 4 for $100 weekend special tires on it. I couldnt imagine driving on tires like that, it would make me nervous.
I never understood it since tha is quite literally "where the rubber meets the road."
Please guys budget for tires!!! I don't even hesitate when my wife's car or my car need them. It's just not worth an accident. Not only that but they are cheap nowadays. You can buy a budget 16" tire for $70 dollars or so, it just doesn't make sense to skimp on your contact with the ground.
