4x4-less

4x4 saved my car big time last weekend. Luckily, i only managed to destroy my lower and my upper oil pan.








And today i went from 4x4 to...well, still a 4x4 but a little better...
big thanks to Mike (e304lyfe) for helping me putting my new shocks and springs in.

Pretty sure it's his M42 powered e30. Which...yea, they aren't get-up-and-go or anything. But, they handle amazingly well. :)

Been there done that, mine was in 4x4 mode to when I decided to slide it into a curb. Did a nice little number on the oil pan. I gotta disagree though, while the m42 isn't anything to write home about, it's definitely not a slow car. Many things are slower, for example my friends 2004 Mazda Protege 5. Actually to think of it, my other friend has a 2005 Mazda 3 SP2.3(the premo package) and my little m42 is still quicker. Just gotta know how to drive the fucker, and not crack them oil pans.

:rofl: car is a dog for sure... i hop into my e36m50 and its like a freakin Lamborghotti Fasterosa... I do rev the piss out of it to actually get it up to speeds.

You should get yourself a ltw flywheel and a chip.

it will do wonders...

my flywheel really made the car feel more peppy, i'm getting my markd chip sometime this week.
