I dig the pics, Chris. Have you considered smoking the turn signals/parking lights to go along with your shadowline? $20 worth of lamin-x would do the entire car.

I've thought about it, but I'm not sure it's worth it to me. I need all new sidemarkers anyway, the ones I have are cracking at the connectors and leaking water inside. Maybe then, but I think I'd rather have a 5 speed than worry about what color my sidemarkers are. :P

btw I'm going to paint the wheels like this with a body colored lip:

Was that the best retort you could come up with? I just don't like iX's I think the "flares" look a bit goofy, and they really do not serve any purpose what so ever. Plus the bottle caps... ugh.

the bottlecaps will be demoted to winter wheel status in a couple weeks.

also, I need the flares for all the track I'm going to have. they were designed to hide the ride height and to protect the rockers from gravel chips. ;)

the fact that you don't like iXs is not object to say agian negatives comments or kind of Jordan, keep that for your self in the name of the lord!!! ;) E30s are E30s!!! station wagons, 4 doors coupes , 4x4s all are nice and have differents purpouses (engines, looking, etc,)

They dont widen the car any, nothing that will allow you to fit wider tires/wheels. Last I check stock 15's fit just fine without the iX "flairs"

I doubt they were designed with hiding how high the car is in mind. That is just a matter of perception anyways.

As for rock chip protection.... how many enthusiests do you know that take their iX's offroad? Do you? If you do take it off road the paint on the flairs will be chipped instead of the rockers... its a lose/lose.....
