Another e30

Got home from work about 25mins before sunset on the first proper sunny day we've had in weeks (its winter down here), so raced 2mins up the road to the only empty area I could think of that close and snapped these off real quick. Not the best but they'll do.









Running H&R Race springs with Bilstein Sports. SA 325i built with leather, cruise, OBC, sump guard, yada yada. Dunlop Sport Maxx rubber on Hyper Fang II's. Badly needs more power. Considering m3o as that's what funds allow - seriously want a v8 though.

Hadn't got past the desire stage, but either 4.0L BMW or I like the idea of a lexus like what Drifty's doin.

But like I said, reality is I'll prob go m30 with possible FI later on.

Any significant differences with the Japenese spec E30? I always wondered. Maybe the OBC and such with writing?

Differences to Jap spec: (these may be options on Jap spec, but all come stock standard on all SA 325i's)

13button OBC
Cruise Control
Headlight Adjust
AC
Front foglights
Sport Leather interior
Sump guard
Front and rear sway bars (some japs only had front)
No Cat
Long range fuel tank (has extra tank in boot. sorry, trunk :) )
Has a shitload more seealant on panel joins etc - took me 5 mins to remove jap front guard and 15 for SA because I had to first scrape all the sealant off the bolt heads, then it was "glued" with sealant to the unibody.

My changes include:
H&R Race Springs
Bilstein Sport dampers
rims & tyres as above
5-spd getrag (was an auto when I bought it)
Smiley ellipsoids - had normal ellipsoids
mtech II
black kidney
black turn signals
smoked tail lights
dyed black parcel tray
red needles
decent audio install incl custom boot install

LSD
urethane
light tint
exhaust


by then It'll be time to think about the next project.
