                  I went to look at that car when it was for sale on Craigslist. There can only be so many red '89 iS coupes with a zillion miles on them, I'm sure it's the same car. Was it some young kid selling it in Encinitas? He was asking something like $1100 when I drove it, he said it had a brand new clutch and he wanted at least $800 for the car. I think I offered him $600. He said he had a few other people interested, so I said to let them look at it, and if it was still for sale in a week or two to call me.

                  IIRC, the VIN on the trunk didn't match the VIN on the rest of the car, the steering wheel shake was pretty bad, the peeling paint and terrible interior, etc. etc. I'm sure you know all about it. I considered buying it to part out, but for what he was asking, it wouldn't have been worth it. I'm amazed at what you did with it, it looks 1000 times better than before. Nice job!
