That back-to-black stuff is pretty good. It has kept the back trim on my cars going for ever...and the more you use it regularly the more consistant it becomes with finish. It will get to a point where you put it on the car, then wash the car and trim to remove the excess and have no drip marks. Truly great stuff.

The clock is a cool feature...I have mine set on celcius and 24H...the date is even backwards' in true European fashion. I love it.

Pull off the face plate cover and you should see access to pry out the clock module. Worse case, slide out the radio and push with your fingers on the back of the clock. I had mine out but at the moment precise directions escape me.
    Good luck

On the back side there is a little thing you can twist for reading 24 hours and celsius, 24 hours and fahrenheit, and 12 hours fahrenheit I think is the 3rd option.

Went down to Pep Boys today and got some of that back-in-black stuff you mentioned to put on the rubber strips on my diving boards. All I have to say is HOLY SHIT. The improvement was drastic. Good call. Your car looks fantastic! Good job!

On the exterior plastics, I cheated: new OEM European bumper strips, and new OEM trim on the fender, door and rear quarter.

As for the seats, yes...I am still kinda far from that for bugetary reasons, but I think I will be going with leather outers and suede inner sections. This way it will not be as cold as leather in the winter, and I will still stay in place. Problem is, I wil do the seats all at once...fronts and rear..so $$$$$

I also have a european speedometer coming from the motherland.

Thanks for all your comments guys. You've all been a huge part in making this little car what it is.
