I drove in mine from 85,000 miles to 203,000 miles when they were in the GLi. Funny thing was that everyone that sat in them also said the same thing "WOW! these are soooOOOOO comfy!!"
:D
..it was also pretty cool to have a 4-door with coupe-tilting seats. Sooooo much more room back there ;)
..and now in vinyl clean up will be sooooooo easy.Leave a comment:

I like the attention to detail, it sure has come a long way. I would have painted the entire mirror, but thats me. Keep up the good work!Leave a comment:

Wierd... I just put mine on last night and I had to trim them as they were too big. Finally got my fog lights resolved.
I don't think i am a big fan of the lamin-x/x-pel stuff. it is cut a little short and does not go to the extreme ends of the lenses. We'll see how they look when mounted on the car...right now you can see the clear lens at the perimeter of the lamin-x application. Nice product...just wish it was cut a little bigger.
The new plastic lenses from BMWlight are pretty nice, though. Fit is great and they look OEM.Leave a comment:

no...the plasti-dip would be a pain in the ass to remove and respray. just used SEM Trim paint over a few coats of etching primer. all the shadowlinning pieces were sanded with 120, 180, 240 and etching primer, then paint. many light coats of paint while int he sun...every 5 min or so another quick spray.
the pieces were off the car when the car was getting painted so it was a piece of cake.Leave a comment:
