hit a little sapling.

damage isnt too bad, but enough for me to be bummed about. have to replace 2 fenders due to creases and dents, new bumper trim, and a new turn signal.


2nd gear and a patch of water with shitty tires isnt a great combination.

i was coming out of a street turning left and shifted to second and popped the clutch just a little bit and couldnt counter the slide, jumped up a curb (barely missed my oil pan) and hit a small tree with the drivers side corner of my front bumper. how my passenger side fender got messed up is a mystery to me.

i will post pics in the morning..

edit: sportmaxx's wont crack as easily as everyone says they will. no damage to the wheels at all.

so is there dents or creases on the passenger side? If nothing hit it, then you may have bent the subframe or unibody slightly. That would scare me more than the driver's side.

yeah im really glad nothing really expensive got trashed

there arent any creases that i can see. only damage to the passenger fender is the inner lip is rolled out in one spot.

yeah, it sucks but i mean its not that bad. its just ugly. im gonna leave it for a while though and just fix the stuff i need to right now. then go back to it when i have some extra cash and some extra time for some bodywork.

yeah, im going to the junkyard tomorrow before work. thursday is when they bring in the new cars, im just too tied up to make it out there today.

so far the junkyard list is 2 fenders, new bumper trim and maybe new bumper, and a new left turn signal assembly.
