A few pro shots from the 8/20 Limerock SCDA HPDE

And some of the other equipment out there:

    LS1 powered:

Had a great time. Limerock is a FUN track. All of the corners are cambered, some rather heavily, and the uphill after the back 'no-name' straight is pretty hair raising when the rear tires spin for a second when the car gets light...at about 85mph.

Nice Shots. I've seen that camaro there before. Did you check out the Coilover setup he has on it? Fucking badass.

Wow, ILL! The car looks all business when it's hunkered down like that.

I'm a cheap bastard, I know. I'll buy a shot or two but they're pretty pricey, at least for me.

You could afford the track day, you can afford to support the guy that stood outside in the heat all day so you could pimp your shit on the interwebz :p

Brewster - good to see you - haven't seen your name here in quite a while!

Looks like fun - I need to get back out there. I am having withdrawal symptoms.

Love the camber on that red hooptie!

3.5 degrees up front with the vorshlag plates. The car handles absolutely perfectly. I love it.

Only plans for the future are a Massive race kit and 16x8 Enkei RPF1's with r-comps of some kind. And a Hans device.

                      Nice pics Brew,
What are you using for brakes and suspension? Tires?

I've done 5 trackdays on Carbotechs and Hawk Blues, still can't find anything that will come close to stopping the car and getting it to stick with the 911's and E36's in the braking zones and putting the power down on exit. Frustrating. Seems like 5-lug and stretched fenders is our only option. ($$$)

I know you have a similar setup (3.0 318is)...What was your experience with braking/tire grip?

Brakes are OE Brembo rotors and Hawk HP+ pads in front and HPS pads out back. Tires are 205/50-15 RS2s.

I'm still very much a novice- this was only my second track day ever- so I'm certainly not pushing the car anywhere near its limit. But I haven't had any problems with fade so far. I'm sure R-comps put a whole lot more heat into the brakes.
