The hood scoop was placed there to have air flow to cool the turbo, its right under the scoop.

I am going to get a new hood and put in vents this time, no a scoop, so it will be removed in adue time

More info on the push button remote start? Did you use a setup out of a newer car or just something custom? I'm intrigued

Not to steal his thunder but it is simply a push button start wired from the ignition to a switch. Its not a remote starter, certainly wouldnt want that in a manual car.
