Well, I bought the car in Kendall ;)

The paint job is better than what most people can imagine. I look forward to meet you guys at the next FL meet.

There is a red 318is for sale in Kendall right now. It seems clean. The guy is asking $2600 though. He has done a lot of maintenance, clutch, suspension, etc. It needs a heater core (we live in Miami, who cares) and the AC is binary. It works, but only on "high" and "off".

I'm probably going to go take a look at it.

I suggest you wait. It took me some time to find a 318is for $800. I was really looking for a 89-90 325is or a 91 325i sport but that was a bit too much to ask.

Find something cheap because you will have to do a lot to it including a paint job.

Thanks for the advice. That's the plan. I've never in my life had to hunt for a car. I usually just stumble upon deals.

I'll keep my eyes open.
