Nice car, but they could've made the trunk lower with part red reflectors to connect to taillights so it would not be so blank looking.

            M5 SMG, M5 manual, M6 SMG.
Obviously the automatic modes for SMG are garbage, but if you keep it in the fastest manual mode and lift off the throttle during upshifts correctly you can't feel the shift - in any combination of rpm and load.

                Meh... Not impressed. ^^^^Really??

Only 383 ft lbs of torque, shit my S4 has more torque. Torque is what makes a scary fast car. I've ridden in my buddies M6 and while it's pretty fast on the highway, they're weak on the street(obviously this is a "for the money" statement). A nice Stg 3+ Audi S4 (2000-2002 BiTurbo S4 with a OEM turbo upgrade- which you can get for around $25-$30k) would eat this thing up.

My 17 year old (that's not a typo) friend Wally's M6 on 20" custom painted/powdercoated DPE's. It has headers, intake and full exhaust. He also has a new RS4- I guess that's SoCal for ya.

I'm sure it was. That's what happens when you're 17 and you get a 500hp car.

Please... My 11psi supercharged M3 was equally as fast as my buddies stage 3 2001 S4. Sure from a dead stop and dropping the clutch he was faster with the AWD, but not from a roll.

I'm with you about torque making for a scary car, but I'm sorry, this car is stupid fast when its in sport mode.

I would imagine that this is an e46 M3 you speak of, and I hope it was an AA kit and not this VF kit:

                            VF Supercharged e46 M3 vs. Stg3 S4- Camera is in the S4

Here's another VF M3 vs. a Stg3 S4 (different cars) fast fwd to 45 sec.

And if it's an AA kit I hope it was at least a Stage III kit, cause a Stg I wouldn't hold up for shit against a Stg III+ S4.

                            Here's a Stg III AA Supercharged e46 M3 vs. a StgIII+ S4

Oh, and here's that Wagon woopin up on a StgIII AA M3 again

                            Stg III+ S4 Wagon vs. modded e60 M5's

By the way, all of these S4's are cars that I know of and have met the owners in person. My good friend Brent's S4 is a monster!!! He won the Eurotuner GP last year, and just completed the Sport Compact Car Street Car Challenge.

It's in this months Sport Compact Car mag with the rest of the competitors and next months issue will have all the power and 1/4 mile numbers along with the event coverage. You should definitely pick it up and check it out.

I don't know what kit your buddie was running, but i'm guessing it was an APR which are tuned to be Stock like drivability. GIAC or ASP is wicked :D

And just for good measure- Two 700+ AWHP S4's going at it. Wicked Motor Sports comes out on top. Probabily the two fastest S4's in the country.

                            Here's the money shot- WMS's Wicked S4:

No, oranges to oranges. The last vid and pic was just for fun and are on the way, way extreme side. Like $50k in motor work side.

4 years ago the kits for S4's were very conservative because the cars were still expensive and the majority of the crowd that had them was slightly older peeps with money.

Now that there is a cult like following for the cars, there are so many tuners available they had no choice but to up the anty.

And yeah, I've done my homework cause I own one.
