I don't know how you guys live with 24mm, though I think sumyun has a UWA zoom too :) My 18-50mm f/2.8 isn't wide enough, but I've got an 8mm fish for that!

its very rare, the car contains the electronically controlled ZF 4HP22-EH 4 speed autobox, whereas most E30's contained a hydraulically controlled regular 4HP22

                Sounds like a wiring nightmare.

Not really... I doubt there is much wiring at all. Sounds more like a nightmare to find a replacement if/when it fails.

Nice car, and creative pictures. I'd like to see come complete pictures that show everything though. Those pictures have the "MySpace angles." How do we know your car isn't really fat, pimply and 13? For all I know, you could have one blue door panel, tan back seats, and no windows.

I have a 20d as well, used to have the 24-70 f2.8L but traded it for a 24-105 f4L IS. I dont miss that extra pound and 2.8 at all, but I do miss the bokeh.
I am a portrait photographer so the 2.8 is a must have.

actually for an e30, it does have quite a bit of wiring, especially considering the transmission has its own TCU. Its basically a direct rip out of the E24 6 series, same TCU, Switch, wiring, same transmission as well with a different bellhousing

do you know anything about Karo mats? I want to know if they have any value in them..
Sorry this is also the first time i've hear the name "Karo" ?

How come you guys never saw/heard of the mult-mode auto transmission? Rarely offered in the U.S ?
