Those really came out nice on the car Joshy. Got any more pics from that shoot with close-ups of that new gold jewelery?

As much as I really dig that big, meaty, 5-spoke design of the Borbets (like in your sig still)... these new ones are pretty hawt. They got room for a BBK in there? Just thinking, since more power is coming your way from the forcasted swap.

Who took those pics? What camera, etc? They came out really well for someone not officially listed on the "R3V photo crew" roster.

"Yes I'm Siskel, yes I'm Ebert, and [Joshy is] getting 2 thumbs up."

HEY! Isn't you car supposed to be in hibernation already?

190 HP of FURY and death! Best watch out. But really a good set of pads is more than enough for even hard street driving or trackdays/auto-x.

I took the pics, with just my dinky little 4 year old, 3.2MP Sony Cybershot, and a tripod. Photoshop cleaned them up a bit, but all I did was AutoLevel them. It's all in the composition. I had great light that day, and they just came out really good. I was pretty impressed with myself.

As far as a BBK is concerned, I don't think it's really necessary with an M50. I've got great pads and rotors, SS lines, all new fluid, and everything works great, so they should be able to handle an M50 just fine. Maybe once it's time for another full brake job. But even then, probably not until I decide to go for more power.

And she's not hibernating yet. As long as the pavement is still clear, I'll keep flogging the girl until it's time to cover it up.

Is it just me, or is the gold used on the Remember's just a tad brassier than on BBS?

Might be the light, but I'm not really sure. Most of the real RS's I've seen are 15-20 years old, and have original, faded paint.

I am poor at photoshop but I think this would set your car off. I plan on doing it to my black 325is and I had it on my 540i that I just sold.

Hmmm, not really into that. Looks like just a chrome stripe down the side.

We'll see. I don't mind it where it is, so it's not a pressing matter.

                                So dope.

RS' are the only wheel where you don't have to be real low and they still turn your car into rolling perfection. Awesome choice.
