    Rotary-- Flame On!

    Well I've decided to share my progress so far. I spent a lot of time after I bought this car thinking about what I would put into it, I wanted something with power but I didnt want to have a huge v8 or iron straight six up front.
    I thought about the 3sgte and was about to go for just an m20 swap when my buddy told me he was looking to unload his 13b for $600. couldnt turn it down. :) Well I've been collecting parts for 2 months now. Began tearing the 318 apart last week. M10 is out and I should have the 13b put together in the next few weeks. Steve Osley of RX7 fame is putting it together for me. We're hoping for about 290hp from the setup.
    Right now im working on the rear disc conversion.
    Upgrades I've got so far:
    325is front struts/springs/calipers/rotors
    Aluminum CAs
    13b
    FD Transmission
    20B intercooler----if we can fit it
    Disabled stupid double TB and removed all that "emission" stuff

    Here's the pics so far: Yes there is a long way to go.

    Look: the thing is asking for the RX7 motor!

    Last but not least:

    Let me know what you think! Bring it on either way!
    Should be a damn fun car when I'm done, looking forward to shutting some people's mouths in the asheville area. :)
    I don't think your mom appreciates the value of those modifications

              Im hoping you where suffering a hangover when you typed that.

              I would be scared of a 4 rotor supra. I think Wankel quad rotors are like tractor/truck only. Still only a 2 keg engine by that point.

                a 4 rotor would be a 27b i suppose. I've seen a 20b over at Steve's but those are beyond my budget.
                Thanks for the comments so far guys! When i'm done i'd love to see how it compares to an s50 swap.

                  i was waiting for someone to do this. i looked into it for about an hour one day and quickly figured out it would cost more than i was willing to pay.

                  good luck on the build dude, im curious to see this finished.

                    well the way i looked at no matter what swap i did to the 318 would be a big ordeal so why not?

                      I don't think you got the gest of that last post.

                      Supra + 4 rotor = ????

                      supra TT - 2jz-gte
                      Rx7 TT - 13b

                      Toyota = Internal combustion I6
                      Mazda = rotary

                          LOL i figured that he was talking about a specific 4 rotor that he had seen they are out there check youtube :)
                          but now that ive re-read the post I see what you mean. Yes I do know the diff between pistons and rotors.

                              Above comments were in response to seeing a pic of an E30 with a V8 installed .

                              If you guys seriously think I don't know the difference between rotary and conventional 4-stroke then you are no smarted than the clowns that posted the above comments . :D

                              In any event , nice build .
                              There were a few rotary powered E21's and E30's back in day that were featured in SCC or European Car .
