No, But there is a clear over the silver. The stripes was an after thought. I'll find out how long it will last when i start driving the car here soon. I should of used a hi-temp primer then painted and cleared it. I did the samething with the cover on my 85 eta, sand blast, paint then clear. It stayed on the last 3-4 months that i had it on the road and it held up. But the wrinkle paint i had on it lasted a month or so before it started to peel. I think i did bad prep job then, cause the wrinkle paint held up on my 2.2 Turbo Dodge valve cover and intake with no peeling.
Here's the colors that i used for the ///
Krylon
2108 Banner Red
1913 Purple
1517 Peekaboo Blue
I'm pretty sure that the paint will hold up, but if not i'll just sand blast it again. Cause i got another idea for it to match the black/red color combo of my car.Last edited by JasonC; 10-24-2007, 09:49 PM.

I like black, but mine is boring
I used Krylon wrinkle coat, not high temp as far as I know. it's held up for almost 5 years though.Comment
